June 2023

June 5th-9th, Theme: All Around the World

June 6th, 1pm-2pm—Board games from around the world for ages 6 and up! International snacks will be served.

June 8th, 10am-11am—Story time for ages 0-5. Enjoy a few stories from around the world and plant a seed to take home!

June 9th, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*.


June 12th-16th, Theme: Community

June 13th, 1pm-2pm—Craft time for ages 6 and older. Create a puzzle picture frame using real puzzle pieces!

June 14th, 3pm—Volunteer fire department coordinator Jim Bodenheimer will be presenting to all ages on what its like to be a firefighter and how it helps our community. We’ll get see parts of the uniform and get a close look at some fire trucks!

June 15th, 10am-11am—Story time for children ages 0-5. Listen to some stories on community and teamwork, then we’ll do puzzles and take one home too!

June 16th, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*.


June 19th-23rd, Theme: Friendship

June 20th, 1pm-2pm—Craft time for ages 6 and older. Let’s make friendship bracelets together! You can use beads and string, learn to weave a pattern with thread, or create your own survival paracord band!

June 22nd, 10am-11am—Story time for ages 0-5. We’ll be listening to some books about friendship and then stringing beads.

June 23rd, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*.


June 26th-30th, Theme: Family

June 27th, 1pm-2pm—Craft time for ages 6 and older. We’ll be making cards to give to family members or friends!

June 28th, 2-3:30pm—All ages outdoor games! We’ll be running some old fashioned relays and playing some group games. You’ll get an “All Together Now” cup to take home and snacks too!

June 29th, 10am-11am—Story time for ages 0-5. Stories this week are about family. After reading, we’ll get a little messy making some handprint greeting cards.

June 30th, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*.


July 3rd-7th, Theme: Helping Others

All week—Ages 6 and up (ages 6-8 may need more help), stop by at any point during open hours this week and participate in a library scavenger hunt. You’ll get to know your library a bit better and enjoy a bonus prize when you finish.

July 4th—Library is closed for Independence Day.

July 6th, 10am-11am—Story time for ages 0-5. We’ll enjoy stories about helping others and play some games of follow the leader.

July 7th, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*.


July 10th-14th, Theme: Sharing

July 11th, 1pm-2pm—Ages 6 and older come and decorate cookies! You’ll decorate some for you and some to share!

July 12th, 2-3:30pm—All ages water balloon games in the yard! Snacks and a drink provided.

July 13th, 10am-11am—Story time for ages 0-5. We’ll enjoy some stories about sharing, some playing, cookie snacks, and take some cookies home to share with our families!

July 14th, 5pm—Winners drawn for weekly drawing prizes*. Last day to turn in reading log.

*Need not be present to win. Prizes may be picked up the following week.
